For those of you who may have missed it: here is a clip from BBC1's Human Planet series showing the pa-aling divers in the Philippines diving to 40 metres breathing air pumped through makeshift tangled tubes by a rusty compressor. And below, a 20m free dive and breath hold for 2.5minutes. 
 
Every day far out at sea half the fish caught in the North Sea are being thrown back dead. That's almost a million tonnes of edible fish every year - wasted.
